Sundow Group Launches ATO Alternatives Amid Global Supply Crisis

Facing global antimony trioxide (ATO) shortages, export controls, and soaring costs, downstream industries struggle to secure essential flame retardants. Faretar, a Subsidiary of Sundow Group, announces a breakthrough solution recently: a new range of high-performance ATO substitutes.

Our R&D center has successfully developed partial alternatives(SD9000), complete alternatives(99A-100), and specialized masterbatches, and also put them into production.

Examples of test

These solutions maintain critical flame retardant performance and physical properties while significantly reducing costs(at least 50%) and eliminating supply chain dependency.

More importantly, these innovative products are already successfully exported and adopted by wire & cable, rubber, and other key industry clients worldwide, solving critical production challenges.
